What type of cool software are the politicos using for their websites?

I might be working on a political campaign website soon. In the runup for it, I am doing some research on what the big politicos use for their websites (CMS, gallery, donations, etc.).

Though politicians tend to be slow on the uptake when it comes to all things tech related, their IT staff seem to understand that goodness that is opensource/shareware. I looked at the sites of the U.S. 100 senators (at the senate.gov domain). I picked senators mainly because they have the most cash and theoretically should have the best websites or IT people.
