Security: Thunderbird Email ProgramsMay 27th, 2006Outllook Express is such a nice program. Too bad about all the viruses. Yeah, virus writers hold a special hatred for Microsoft. I love the Gates Foundation though. I don't see anyone else stepping up with $2 million to fund onchocerciasis research. But I digress. A very nice alternative to Outlook Express is Thunderbird. It's from the makers of Firefox. It is packed with features: junk-mail filters, anti-phishing protection (Nigerian email scams and the like), advanced security. Do I really need to go on? And of course, it's free. Still not convinced? The read "Why should I use Thunderbird instead of other mail clients?" from the Mozilla Site.
